For cataract or glaucoma opinions, appointments can be made with Associate Professor Lawlor by calling one of the locations below.

For neuro-ophthalmology appointments, Associate Professor Lawlor consults at both Sydney Eye and RPA Hospitals. Working in a large public hospital gives patients access to a multidisciplinary team, with ready availability of neurologists, neurosurgeons, and neuro-radiologists. Urgent cases can be seen the same day in the Emergency Department or discussed with the hospital registrar, and less urgent referrals can be faxed to Sydney Eye Hospital outpatients (02) 9382 7354 or RPA Eye Clinic (02) 9515 7532.

Checklist of things to bring:

A current referral from a doctor or optometrist
Your current glasses
A list of medications you are taking
Your Medicare card
Your private insurance card or details (if applicable)

Please allow at least 2 hours for your appointment
Same day appointments are available for patients with eye emergencies
You may need to have your pupils dilated for a complete optic nerve examination: patients are advised not to drive for at least a few hours after their appointment
